Dubai Visa for Indonesians

Indonesian citizens are eligible to apply online for a Dubai e-visa and should do so prior to traveling to Dubai. The Dubai e-visa allows Indonesian nationals a single or multiple entry into Dubai for either a 30 or 60-day stay from the date of entry into the UAE. Please be advised that Indonesian nationals are not eligible to obtain a visa-on-arrival at a UAE port of entry.

Indonesian nationals traveling to Dubai for tourism purposes can apply online for the 5-year Dubai tourist visa. This self-sponsored Dubai tourist visa allows holders to stay in Dubai for 90 days each visit within the 5-year validity period, with the option to extend for an additional 90 days. Indonesian applicants are eligible for the multiple entry 5-year Dubai visa, provided they have a minimum bank balance of $4,000 USD or the foreign equivalent, valid health insurance, an onward airline ticket, and proof of lodging in Dubai.

Indonesian nationals wishing to work in Dubai are required to hold a Dubai work visa. A Dubai work visa is sponsored by and applied for through an MoHRE registered company. Indonesian citizens who can demonstrate exceptional talent or skill, have a proven track record, or wish to start-up a business, work remotely, or invest in Dubai can apply for a Dubai business visa. Dubai Tourist visa for Indonesians

Indonesian nationals applying online for a sponsored Dubai e-Visa or a self-sponsored 5-year visa should prepare the following documents required for the Dubai visa application:

Personal photo

Applicant must have a recent color photograph that follows regular Indonesian applicant photo guidelines, including size, imaging quality, white background, natural facial expressions, and frontal angle.

Passport + copy

Indonesian applicant must hold a passport that is valid for 6 months from the date of visa application submission. Please be advised that passports must be machine readable, as UAE ports of entry do not accept hand written passports. Additionally, applicants should supply 1 color copy of their passport biometric page with applicant’s signatures.

Application

Indonesian applicant should fill out a Dubai visa application form online at DubaiVisas.com.

Ticket

Indonesian applicant must have a confirmed return or onward airline ticket or travel booking stating their departure from Dubai.

Credit/debit card

Indonesian applicant must have a valid credit or debit card for online payment.

Dubai 5-year tourist visa for Indonesians

Indonesian nationals applying online for a self-sponsored 5-year visa should prepare the following documents, in addition to the Dubai tourist visa requirements detailed above:

Financial means

A 6-month bank balance of at least USD 4,000 or the foreign equivalent

Dubai visa

Indonesian workers must legally live and work in Dubai by holding a valid Dubai work permit or Dubai residency visa. Please be advised that Indonesian foreign nationals cannot work in Dubai on a Dubai tourist visa under any circumstances.

Health evaluation

Indonesian workers must pass medical screening at an approved Dubai health center, and any failure in passing the required medical exams will lead to immediate deportation from Dubai.

Dubai Business visa for Indonesians

Indonesian nationals should apply for Dubai business visa in the following manner:

Get nominated

Get nominated by a UAE government incubator. If nomination approved, you will be sent a link to the Dubai golden visa platform.

Apply online

Apply online Fill out and submit Dubai visa application form and upload the required documents on the Dubai golden visa platform, via the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship & Ports Authority portal.

Await the decision

Receive an email detailing on how you should proceed to retrieve your Dubai business visa.

If approved, the Dubai business visa will be issued as a temporary visit visa – 6 months temporary visa for Indonesians living outside of Dubai, or a 1-month temporary Dubai visa for Indonesians already living in Dubai. The temporary Dubai visa for Indonesians should then be converted into a Dubai residency permit before the Indonesian national’s temporary visa expires.
